Clear Creek drains from the east side of the Clear Creek drains from the east side of the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness near Buena Vista. Though its scenery is best as you approach the Sawatch Range, along the way are some beautiful beaver ponds. I had just climbed out of the car when the sunrise light hit the peak to create a sense of "moment" for the scene.
