On a traverse of the Continental Divide through the new James Peak Wilderness, I spent a night at well over 12,000 feet just above Ice Lake. As always, I arose early and in plenty of time to watch the sun begin to cut between the clouds and the horizon. Notice how the pinks of sunrise reflect on the white icebergs in the lake.
