The headwaters of Avalanche Creek in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness near Aspen provided this remarkable setting. Notice the vestiges of orange light on the distant peaks, signaling the end of the day. I was lucky to have been at the right place at the right time to make this image.
