This is a photograph of two of Colorado's state flower, the Colorado columbine. The image was made with a 100mm macro lens on my 35mm Canon EOS camera. The photograph was taken in cloudy light in order to avoid excessive contrast and loss of detail that occurs with highly reflective colors like white and light purple.
