John's Events
John enjoys taking a break from the "trail" in order to perform public and private multi-media shows, and to conduct book signings. In a typical year he will do 30 shows and a few dozen more book events, mostly in the months November through May.
If you would like to invite John to present to your organization or do a book signing at your store, please contact us. John does not charge a speaking fee to most non-profit organizations and schools, and will even donate a portion of book sales back to your group if it is a charitable or land conservation non-profit.

Gunnison River Photo Workshop Join Colorado’s premier landscape photographer, John Fielder, on this exciting Gunnison Gorge 14-mile wilderness rafting journey, below Black Canyon National Park in western Colorado. It promises spectacular canyon scenery with unlimited photographic opportunities both rafting on the river and climbing to the top of mesas. Day hikes in pleasant temperatures afford opportunities to photograph desert wildflowers and cactus along with views of the river from above. Crested Butte Wildflower Workshop Join Colorado’s premier landscape photographer, John Fielder, in the wildflower capital of Colorado on a 2-day workshop. Long summer days afford ample opportunity to travel the backroads and explore remote field locations with John. Let him lead you into his colorful world of vast wildflower fields in his favorite – and most secret – places. If snow pack allows access, catch the sunset at Paradise Divide as the last light illuminates Cinnamon Mountain and, the next morning, experience sunrise at Peanut Lake. It never disappoints! Your chances to photograph old ranch buildings and dozens of varieties of wildflowers round out two glorious days, at off-the-beaten-path places you might not discover on your own, in the Colorado high country with John.
